DON’T FORGET TO CHECK YOUR HOSES – IGUANA TIPS

Hoses on the Iguana Mobility System (IMS) are an important inspection point that should not be overlooked. Indeed, if one of them is too old, the Iguana cannot function properly and it could leak.

If you own an Iguana therm, there are 33 internal and 14 external hoses. For one electric, 16 internal, and 8 external.

REGULARLY CHECK YOUR HOSES

Regularly check your external hoses. Go around your Iguana, do not hesitate to feel the cables to check that there are no leaks.
Ensure that your boat’s oil is at the proper level as well. Turn on the dashboard screen on the console and select “info” then “oil level”.
Internal hoses have to be changed on average every 5 years or every 500 IMS hours. External hoses have to be changed on average every 2 years or every 200 IMS hours.

WHAT TO DO IF THE HOSES NEED TO BE CHANGED

If your hoses need to be changed, the Iguana can be sent to the shipyard. Our after-sales service team can also come to you, subject to team availability. If you have a team on-site, we can simply send you the necessary parts. For any additional information on this subject, do not hesitate to consult the Owner Manual supplied with the boat or to contact our after-sales service.
